Beginnings
After the Covid lockdown, a few of us saw a real opening to bring the city’s nightlife back to life. The buzz had died down, and people were itching for something new. With a bit of experience running events across different scenes, we pulled together our ideas and started mapping out how to spark that energy again.. nights that felt fresh, fun, and genuinely worth going out for.

Reasoning
Waterford has a rich history with electronic music and has produced plenty of talented DJs who’ve helped shape the city’s nightlife. But we felt there was room to mix things up — to bring a fresher blend of house, hip-hop, and funk to our nights.
We also took the time to learn what our audience actually wanted. Through a bit of research into our followers, we found out which sounds they were craving. That led us to launch Aura Selector — a teaser playlist we’d drop before each event to give people a taste of what was coming.


Details
Over the course of the year, we pulled off six events across some of the city’s go-to spots. Each night brought in top talent from around the county, letting us connect with their fans while growing our own crowd along the way.
When it came to bookings, we focused on artists who matched our sound and vibe. We selected our Dj's on how well they could carry the energy of the night and not just their names, helping us make each event flow and feel consistent from start to finish.
Visuals were a big part of it too. Each event had its own look — a different colour theme, style, and setup — showing up across everything from the promos to the lighting and stage design. We wanted every space to feel fresh and in line with the atmosphere we were trying bring. By tying together the music, visuals, and atmosphere, we built real consistency across the year — and delivered nights that people actually remember.
A sad ending
Overall our run of nights went down a success but down to travel ambitions our resources became too stretched to continue, we hope we can bring something back to our hometown some time in the future
