Problem :

I started with just a simple catalogue of vintage jerseys that the client provided, no storefront, no database, no existing site. Using Framer (CMS + design tools), I created a structured content system: each jersey had its own entry with image, description, size/condition details, and any relevant metadata. I organised all jerseys into clear categories so users could browse easily by style, era or size. For ordering, instead of relying on a full e‑commerce platform, I implemented a simple form under each jersey using Framer’s built‑in form functionality, so customers could submit an enquiry/order directly without needing a “cart + checkout” flow.

Throughout, I designed clean, modern pages, with attention to layout, typography, spacing, and added subtle animations and transitions so the site felt polished, dynamic and trustworthy.

Solution :

By leveraging Framer’s CMS and form features, I structured the entire catalogue cleanly and made content management easy for the client. The enquiry form under each jersey acted as a streamlined “order request” system, simple, direct, and effective for the business model (meet in person / offline sale). I applied consistent design including in a clear category layout, intuitive navigation, clean visuals, and subtle animations, giving the site a contemporary and professional feel while ensuring usability.

Challenge :

The main challenge was building a credible, professional looking shop without a standard e‑commerce backend. With only a static catalogue and no payment infrastructure, I needed to make ordering intuitive and reliable without having users expect a “cart checkout” experience. Another challenge was building a site that looked premium and modern despite minimal resources making sure the design, categorisation and user flow felt seamless so that visitors would trust the site and feel comfortable reaching out to buy a jersey.

Summary :

The project transformed a raw catalogue into a fully fledged, polished website for VintageBermuda, combining modern design with functional simplicity. Despite not using a traditional e‑commerce platform, the site delivered a smooth user experience through browsing, selecting a jersey, and submitting an order enquiry all felt straightforward. The end result demonstrated how a well‑structured CMS, thoughtful design, and smart use of forms can create a professional shop experience even for small boutique operations.
